From Manila - head north on the national highway. When you come through the town of Sudipen, La Union, go over the Amburayan River bridge and the next town due north is Tagudin. Drive through the town of Tagudin until you come by the Tagudin Public Cemetery. Approximately a hundred meters past the cemetery you will see the road to Farola due west. Make a left on this road and head toward the South China Sea. Take this road until you come to the Buenavista Family Inn.
From Laoag - head south on the national highway. When you come through the town of Santa Cruz, the next town due south is Tagudin. Before you reach the town of Tagudin proper you will drive through the truck stop at Barangay Libtong. Time to slow down. Approximately five hundred meters more you will come to the road to Farola. Make a right turn on this road and head toward the shores of the South China Sea. If you find yourself already passing by the Tagudin Public Cemetery, this means you have overshot the road to Farola. Make a U-turn and go back north about a hundred meters. You will find the road to Farola due west. Make a left turn into this road and drive until you come to the Buenavista Family Inn.
